Jennifer hunt

AMFT 153722 / (she/her)

Jennifer Hunt is a Associate Therapist (AMFT 153722) based in Los Angeles, with roots in Boston. With over a decade of experience in early childhood education at two of Los Angeles' leading schools, Jennifer is passionate about supporting children, parents, and families. She firmly believes in the power of social-emotional learning and the value of parent education in fostering healthy and connected family dynamics.

Jennifer holds a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Psychology from Bridgewater State University and an advanced certificate in Early Childhood Education from UCLA. She also earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University, graduating summa cum laude. Her extensive academic background, combined with her years of hands-on experience, has allowed Jennifer to develop a therapeutic style that is both clinically grounded and practical for real-life situations.

Jennifer takes a client-centered approach while working with children, parents, and families. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as art and play therapy, she tailors her sessions to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her warm, thoughtful approach creates a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and valued.

Under the supervision of Remington Rebeil (LMFT 123555), Jennifer welcomes all feelings and parts (IFS) into her space; she helps the client understand that these feelings and parts have an "innate desire to support the child in becoming their best ‘self.’” Her primary areas of focus include strengthening the parent-child relationship, balancing the family system, supporting highly sensitive children, addressing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Jennifer has experience working with clients as young as two years old and is committed to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. She has worked with neurodivergent clients, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and survivors of domestic violence.

As a mother of two, Jennifer is grateful for the trust families place in her and values working collaboratively with parents to nurture positive change. She is a trusted partner on the journey to emotional well-being and stronger family connections.

Jennifer currently hosts ecotherapy sessions in park settings to support deep play and mind-body connection in nature.

Halley King

AMFT 144004 + APCC 14537 / (she/her)

Halley is a Los Angeles based Associate Therapist (AMFT 144004) and Associate Counselor (APCC 14537) passionate for working with children, teens and their families. Originally from Texas, Halley pursued a B.A. in Business with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Texas. She went on to receive an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, graduating summa cum laude.

Halley’s clinical foundation is rooted in trauma-informed care. Halley is EMDR-trained through the EMDR International Association and is also a trained psychotherapeutic yoga instructor. She has completed additional training in mindfulness practices for teens and the use of movement in supporting the prenatal and postpartum populations.

During her graduate training, Halley worked with children and teens affected by domestic violence. She continued to expand her experience working in pediatric residential programs, schools for children with disabilities, and teen violence support groups. These environments shaped her adaptable and compassionate approach across diverse client needs and environments.

Drawing from a Family Systems lens, Halley collaborates closely with families to unify therapeutic goals and foster lasting change. She incorporates creative interventions under Remington’s direction including play therapy, sand tray therapy, and somatic techniques that help clients build a brain-body connection, promote nervous system regulation and build emotional awareness. She invites children and teens into her interactive space to experience fun, creativity, understanding and progress.

Halley values the therapeutic alliance as the cornerstone of her work, tailoring her approach to fit each individual’s unique therapeutic needs. She often works with challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, grief, life transitions, and trauma, all through a lens of creativity, connection, and holistic healing.
