remington Creates healthy connections to self and others through the natural language of play
I use my warm demeanor and integrative approach (a blend of art, activities, discussion and play) to foster a welcoming environment where children and young adults can share their inner realities without shame or judgment.
remington’s philosophy:
We can’t think our way through healing — we have to feel our way through it.
Play helps us do just that — feel. Play grounds us to the here and now, giving clients a safe space to explore, express, and make sense of big feelings that come up in everyday life.
Our clinicians join the play with curiosity and care. Together, we co-regulate and co-create coping tools to manage tricky moments as they happen.
Play becomes a kind of rehearsal for real life — where kids learn not just to feel good, but to get really good at feeling all their feelings, growing their nervous system’s strength and flexibility along the way.

Our treatment Modalities:
mind
01Cognitive behavior therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practice that helps you connect to your learned patterns. The goal of CBT is to become more aware of how inaccurate thoughts or negative thinking may affect how you feel and in turn how you behave or react.
Body
02Somatic Informed Practices
Somatic experiencing is a practice that connects you back to your body in the present moment. To be in the body is to become aware of body sensations, impulses, and activation. Through nervous system regulation, the person develops more capacity (resilience & regulation) to self‐soothe, be present, and engage more fully in life.

04Family Systems
Family systems therapy (FST) views the family as an emotional unit. The goal of FST is to “understand that behavior is often informed by and inseparable from the functioning of one’s family of origin.” Through the lens of family systems, parents are invited by our parent coaches to get curious, reframe, compassionately connect, and understand their impact through the lens of FST.
